The Forest

7 × 10 inches original watercolor on archival paper

By Timothy Colomer

Mike and Robert head into the beautiful woods near Mount Fuji in The Forest, an original watercolor by Timothy Colomer. Part of the Duck and Compass Society’s Japan series, this scene follows the pair on a hike, making the landscape itself the focus of their exploration. The journey draws on the spirit of curiosity and travel that Timothy loves in The Endless Summer. Here, that adventure takes them away from the waves and into Japan’s woodland scenery, with time to enjoy a different side of the country.
