Robert and Mike had absolutely no idea what they had signed up for.

Neither of them had ever been to Japan. In fact, this was the first time they'd ever traveled outside the United States, unless you count the occasional visit to see the loon crew up in Canada. That hardly seemed international enough to prepare them for what lay ahead.

Everything was new.

The language.

The food.

The sounds.

The streets.

Even the air felt different.

Standing on the dock with their bags packed, they paused for a moment to take it all in. Somewhere beyond the harbor waited ancient temples, hidden trails, mountain villages, bustling cities, and countless stories they hadn't yet imagined.

Every great adventure begins with a single step into the unknown.

For Robert and Mike, this was that moment.
